All dogs in Seekonk must be licensed annually with the Town. Licenses are only good until the 31st of March each year.
Massachusetts General Law requires that all dogs over six months of age be licensed. The Town Clerk's Office assigns the dog licenses for the Town of Seekonk.
Proof of a current rabies vaccination certificate (not a rabies tag) is required to license your dog(s).
A new Seekonk Adopted Act 140 section 139-C passed at the June 7, 2021 Town Meeting, exempting anyone 70 years or older from paying for a dog license. You must still fill out the forms and give us proof of rabies vaccine each year. Your dog(s) still need a new dog tag every year.
If you need to apply for a Dog License, please click the link to access the online permitting system and submit your application.

| Spayed/Neutered | $10 |
| Unspayed/Unneutered | $20 |
| Late Fee (Imposed on any licenses issued after May 31st at 11:59 pm) | $20 |
Obviously, if you have newly adopted a dog or puppy, this would not apply when licensing your new addition to your family.
