All dogs in Seekonk must be licensed annually with the Town. Licenses are only good until the 31st of March each year.
Massachusetts General Law requires that all dogs over six months of age be licensed. The Town Clerk's Office assigns the dog licenses for the Town of Seekonk.
Proof of a current rabies vaccination certificate (not a rabies tag) is required to license your dog(s).
|Late Fee (Imposed on any licenses issued after May 31st at 11:59 pm)||$20.00|
(Obviously, if you have newly adopted a dog or puppy, this would not apply when licensing your new addition to your family.)

Reminder: Seekonk holds an Annual Rabies Clinic for residents and non-residents in mid-March. It is cash-only and is for dogs and cats. You are also able to license your dog with the Town at the Clinic -- so this makes taking care of your pet not only affordable, but convenient. Check back for details as we get closer to that time of year and details will be announced at the Selectmen Meetings, on local cable (Channels 9 & 15), and in the Seekonk Reporter's "Clerk's Corner" by Florice Craig.
