Request Records
Electronic Records
Under the new version of the law, the Seekonk Police Department will provide public records in an electronic format unless the requestor does not have the ability to receive or access the records in a useable electronic format.
Electronic Records may be requested for the following:
- Accident Reports
- Incident Reports
- Call Log Information
**Please be advised that all reports are still subject to public record redaction exemptions. A list of exemptions may be found at Chapter 4, Section 7(26) of the Massachusetts General Laws**
Response Time
The Seekonk Police Department will respond to a request in writing within 10 business days from the initial request.
Fees
At this time, the Seekonk Police Department will not charge a fee for black and white paper copies or computer printouts of public records for both single and double-sided sheets. If a response to a public records request requires more than 4 hours of employee time, the Seekonk Police Department shall assess a fee of the hourly rate of the lowest paid employee to search for, compile, redact or reproduce the record. That fee shall not exceed $25.00/hour.

Please provide all available information pertaining to your request, such as your name, date and time of the incident, type of incident, and the location of the incident.
